Millennium Mambo is a virtual grocery store space, and i am playing the role of a storyteller. The central element of my project is based on a meaningful place to me from my childhood—my grandmother's grocery store.
I designed the virtual space by blending the stories that unfolded in this grocery store with the environment as I remembered it. I visualized these stories as toys or merchandise, metaphorically mapping the narratives within my grandmother's shop. These stories not only reflect my personal memories but also resonate with the collective memories of Chinese Gen Z.
